You Will Be Missed: Pledge Class 2010

Senior Circle Degree

Our seniors have went through the Circle Degree, have had their Pansy Brunch and have now graduated. You will be extremely missed. You have went through the new member program, endured homecomings, countless bid days, became littles, became bigs, found your best friends, volunteered countless hours, watched your best friends graduate, recruited fabulous new pledge classes, lived with over 80 girls in one huge sorority house, cried on a sister’s shoulder, had a sister cry on your shoulder, found out who you are and left a legacy.

We hope you cherish the moments and memories you have made within your years at college. Remember being a Tri Delta lady is for life, not just four years. We can’t wait to watch you grow and go out into the real world.

After Cirlce Degree, we had our annual Pansy Brunch. We loved having alumnae, parents and sisters get together to celebrate the wonderful pledge class of 2010. Every year one senior is awarded the Outstanding Senior Award, and this year the award was given to Allison Christian. Allison has held positions as Academic Chair, New Member Educator and Chapter President. Allison demonstrates the true characteristics of a Delta lady.

Why My Big Rocks: Samantha to Danielle

Bigs: Mentors, best friends, shoulders to cry on and so much more.

An interview with Samantha Sturtevant on her big, Danielle Farrar:

My big rocks because she is real. She doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her, and I love that! She’s so funny, outgoing and is always there when I need her.”

My “love story” with my big actually started on Bid Day. She was one of the first people I met at the house. So when we went on a sponsor date and found out we had met earlier, we clicked right away especially while talking about our love of VH1 countdown shows. We only went on one sponsor date, but we both knew we had found our big/little pair.”

My big is always there for me no matter what. I can tell her anything, and she doesn’t judge. She was really there for me when I was going through a rough patch during spring semester. I was just done with school, people and just wanted to go home. But she calmed me down, talked me through it all, and made me feel a lot better and not so homesick. I will probably always be thankful for that moment.”
